Stork, nothing to do with delivering babies. It stems from two skinny legs at junior school (I should have been a girl), but before we let our imaginations run wild, don’t worry, I’m still very much 100% male. Quite incredible how the Xhosa names given to my different family members at such an early age turned out to symbolise the very nature and character of the individual family members.
